danceWelcome to the official website of G.T.E.V. D’Oberlandler Inc.

We meet every Wednesday evening to preserve and perpetuate the customs, traditions, language, costumes, music and dances of Bavaria. Typically, the evening’s activities focus on folk dances, music, and various other Bavarian traditions. Our dances include the Holzhacker, translated as the wood cutter; the Muhlradl, translated as the Miller’s dance; and the Glockenplattler, translated as the bell dance. In addition to dancing, our performances include the accordion; the Glocken, the cowbells; and the Aplenhorn, a long, wooden horn.
